I have finally started putting lights up for my 2007 Christmas Light show. This will be the second year I have done a Christmas Light show synchronized with music. (I did in 2005, too, but that was only 4 channels and only for a couple days).
So far everything has been going smoothly, save for one Cat5 cable that I think needs a new end. I am kind of dreading putting up my icicle lights as I can almost guarantee of the 4 strings (only 3 go outside), I will only have 1 string fully working when I take it out of the box.
I plan to take some picturesin the next few days, along with writing a few posts about how the system works. Keep tuned.

I hate programmers sometimes. For some reason the writers of the PHP software APlusBill thought it would be a good idea to run their index.php file through a program that stripped basically all whitespace.
It is bad enough that it doesn’t include a templating system. You have to go through and edit a bunch of the files manually to change the template. If that was the only thing though, it wouldn’t be so bad.
Try wading through 13 kilobytes of text on ONE SINGLE LINE with no spaces between commands. You should see why I now hate this piece of software.
I’ll be back later, I need to go buy a wig so people wont be able to tell i ripped all of my hair out…

Hi. I’m Charles “Chuck” Garwood. I am from Linton Indiana. As of right now if you are reading this you probably already know that.
Anyway, I tried a blog once before but i never kept it updated. Now I have this domain name sitting here unused, so i figured hey why not try this whole ‘blogging’ thing again.
Most of this will be related to either programming/website design/system administration (computer geek stuff), or Christmas Lights. There will also be other random things posted, but those 2 subjects will make up the bulk of it.
Check back if you want, although as of right now I can’t make any promises that I will keep it updated.
